The British & Irish Lions are set to face Western Force in their first tour game of Australia on Saturday. The Lions will be looking to recover from a surprising 28-24 defeat to Argentina in Dublin in the 1888 Cup last week. Given that they were up against a strong Los Pumas side and had only been together for a few weeks, the team can be excused for an unusual first game loss. This is the first time the Lions have toured Down Under since 2013, when Welsh legend Sam Warburton led the iconic side to a series victory which was also their last tour win. Only two Welshmen are part of the touring squad this year, marking the lowest representation from Wales since the inception of the team. Jac Morgan and Tomos Williams are hoping to secure a spot in the starting squad or the bench for the first game against the Wallabies on July 19. However, before that, a series of warm-up games will take place against Australia's top Super Rugby sides. Additionally, a match against an invitational Australia and New Zealand side will be held at Adelaide Oval just before the first Test, reports Wales Online . After the first Test, there will be a game against First Nations and Pasifika XV, followed by two consecutive Test matches against Australia to conclude the tour. Saturday's match against Western Force will kick-start a six-week festival of rugby in Australia. The British & Irish Lions are set to face Western Force at 11am UK time on Saturday, June 28, at Optus Stadium in Perth. The local time will be 6pm. The match between the British & Irish Lions and Western Force will be broadcast live on Sky Sports. You can catch the game on both Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action. The broadcaster's coverage will kick off at 10am on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action and wrap up on both channels at 1:45 PM. The game is also being shown via the RugbyPass streaming service as well as Sky's Now TV and Sky Go services.
