Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 31 points to help the Thunder rally from a double-digit deficit in the second half to beat the Denver Nuggets 112-105 and take a 3-2 lead in their Western Conference semifinal series. That was despite a 44-point, 15-rebound night from Denver star Nikola Jokic.
Now the Thunder can clinch the series on Thursday, but they’ll have to do it on the road in Denver to avoid Game 7 on Sunday. Gilgeous-Alexander is the presumptive 2025 NBA MVP, but he’s still waiting for the official announcement, which was expected before the game on Tuesday, but never came.
