Hyderabad: Revenue minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Monday said that the government is constructing integrated Sub-Registrar Offices on par with corporate standards, equipped with cutting-edge technology. He added that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will lay the foundation stone for the new SRO office building in Gachibowli on August 20.He said revolutionary reforms have been undertaken in the stamp and registration department to provide the best services to people visiting registration offices. He said that, due to these reforms, people are already receiving better services. To further improve them in the future, and in line with the vision of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the government is reorganising Sub-Registrar Offices and establishing integrated offices wherever necessary to provide convenience to the public without administrative hurdles. “These integrated offices will not only improve efficiency but also enhance supervision, reduce corruption, balance workloads between offices, and expedite file processing. In the first phase, at least 39 sub-registrar offices in the four districts of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal, and Sangareddy will be brought under 11 integrated buildings,” the minister said. At Rangareddy registrar office, Gandipet, Sherlingampalli, and Rajendranagar, an integrated SRO was being constructed at the Telangana Academy of Land Information and Management (TALIM) in Gachibowli. He said that this office will serve as a role model. The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for this building on August 20. He also reviewed arrangements for the construction of new SROs at Abdullahpur, Pedda Amberpet, Hayatnagar, Vanasthalipuram, Koheda, Maheshwaram, Ibrahimpatnam, Shamshabad, Mankal in Maheshwaram mandal, Medchal, Quthbullapur, Keesara, Shamirpet, Kandlakoya, Narapalli, Kapra, Ghatkesar, Malkajgiri, Boduppal, and Banjara Hills. He further stated that integrated offices are being constructed in Banjara Hills for SR Nagar and Golconda, and in Malakpet for Azampura, Charminar, and Doodh Bowli. Orders have also been issued to the respective district collectors to identify sites for integrated buildings at four more locations for thirteen additional Sub-Registrar Offices. Srinivas Reddy also reviewed arrangements for Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s visit to launch the house warming ceremony of Indiramma houses at Bendalapadu of Chundrugonda mandal in Bhadadri-Kothagudem district on August 21. He said the Congress government was materialising the dream of the poor people to own a house through Indiramma houses. He reminded that Indiramma houses were sanctioned to the eligible families irrespective of politics. In all, 4.5 lakh Indiramma houses have been sanctioned to the eligible families in the first phase. He said a Praja Sabha would be conducted at 3 pm at the village for which one lakh people would be attending. The Chief Minister will reach Bendalapadu at 2.20 pm on August 21 and launch house warming of 27 Indiramma houses, whose works were completed. He will also interact with the beneficiaries of Indiramma houses.
