In the Cardiff, it's standard to see dozens of flags billowing in the wind - especially outside the Principality Stadium, the home of Welsh rugby. But today, while there are plenty of red dragons adorning the pubs and bars of Westgate, there's some that you're less likely to see doing the rounds on a typical Friday afternoon. Yes, there's Union Jacks but there's also the flags of Uruguay, Spain, Japan and Canada. No, it's not the convening of some global summit, but something entirely more "biblical" - it's officially the start of Oasis Live '25. The eyes of the world are firmly fixed on the Welsh capital today as the legendary Mancunian brothers perform together for the first time in 16 years. They will also play at the stadium on Saturday night. The brothers announced the reunion last summer, resulting in a huge rush for tickets, many people willing to pay over £300 to see Oasis live again. Tonight, the first warm up act, Cast, take to the stage at 6pm, followed by Richard Ashcroft, who will be next on the stage at 7pm. Oasis will then be on stage at 8.15pm and the curfew to the gig will be at 10.30pm. Many fans had travelled from across the world to be at the first comeback gig. Karin Yamamoto, 24, and boyfriend Fumitaka Hamano, 29, flew in from Japan. Karin said: "My parents are big fans, but I never got to see them live. "I'm hoping they play Live Forever." Carol Sanchez and Alex Diaz, wearing matching Oasis Knebworth t-shirts, flew in from Spain after seeing them at their last ever concert in the country in Madrid in 2009. "We had to be here, we hope they play the traditional songs., said Carol, who hopes the first song they come out to will be Rock n Roll star. Friends Owen Gould, 20, and Tyler Turner, 21, travelled six hours from South Shields to be at the gig on Friday. Owen said: "We had to be at the opening gig. Oasis getting back together is something we never thought would happen ever again. I thought we'd missed the chance so to get tickets for the opening night is just insane." Proudly wearing a Uruguay flag around his shoulders, David and his friends Gonzalo and Maxi have made the most of their trip. "We've been to Bristol, Manchester and Liverpool while were here," said David. "Liverpool has great nightlife, we had a good night out there but Manchester is also great, the people are very warm and friendly. Millie, 17, and her dad Gavin travelled from just down the road in Swansea, but is is an emotional one for them - and Millie's first stadium show. "I've been their number one fan from the start," said David emphatically. "For me it's all about the B Sides, but they will probably just start with Hello. "Halfway through I would like them to play Talk Tonight, In think because of the backstory and the split at the time it's very poignant. There were also plenty of Mancs in among the crowd. Paul Radcliffe, 58, from Chorlton , has seen Oasis 38 times - the first gig being the band's iconic 1994 Buckley Tivoli gig. He's also met Liam and Noel before, and proudly showed us a photo on his phone of him with Liam. Paul said: "I never thought they’d ever get back together, but after I seen Liam and Noel play solo, when you see the kids now at the gigs I just thought it would be nice for the younger generation to get to see them." Meanwhile James Mudge from Cardiff was at Oasis' last gig at the Principality Stadium in 2009. He was celebrating his 45th birthday with partner Kate Williams, 32, at the gig on Friday. His memories of the last gig? "It was the whole feeling of camaraderie back then, and there were not the phones like you have now at gigs. I've been following them since 1995 so the fact they're back together, and burying the hatchet, they needed that to have closure, it's great." Also celebrating their birthday in the pub outside the stadium was Nia and her partner Sean. They're also seeing Oasis at Wembley for Sean's birthday. His dad is from Chorley and he supports Bolton Wanderers, hence the t-shirt he's wearing which is from Oasis' show at the Reebok Stadium Bolton from 15 July 2000. Lots of fans had made their own Oasis-emblazoned items for the gigs - including expectant parents Laura and Alec Byhurst, from Oxford, who came up with genius matching t-shirts. Laura, who is 25 weeks pregnant, had an "RKid" logo over her baby bump, while Alec had the lyrics: "She's got one in the oven, but it's nothing to do with me" from Oasis classic She's Electric. Laura said: "Alec is a huge Oasis fan. We're expecting a baby girl, but if it had been a boy it would definitely be called Liam."
