Werder Bremen defender Felix Agu has expressed his desire to snub Germany in order to represent the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Felix Agu has made it clear that he is open to the possibility of playing for Nigeria under new boss Eric Chelle.
Agu was born in Germany to Nigerian parents and has excelled during his time at Werder Bremen, playing as a versatile full-back, who has also been used in defensive midfield.
The 25-year-old left-back has made 85 appearances since joining Bremen in 2020, scoring 3 goals.

Speaking on the subject of his international future, Agu spoke candidly in an interview with OmaSports.
“To play on the national level was always a dream of mine and I had to make half of the decision already because I played for the German under-21 team,” he said.
“I did this to kind of keep this open, but I’ve talked a lot to Justin Njimah about playing for the national team and we think it would be like a dream come true to play for Nigeria.
The Nigeria-eligible star has made 14 appearances for Bremen this season, and it remains to be seen whether his comments lead to a call-up in the future.
