I was an international rugby star but quit to become an estate agent at 26 after turmoil shattered my career

AN international rugby union star has quit to become an estate agent aged 26.
The Welsh rising star was in his sporting prime until his promising career took a different turn.
Ben Fry used to be a professional rugby union player for the Dallas Jackals and Dragons RFC.
The former flanker from Cardiff was even tipped to be a potential recipient of higher honours.
After quitting to become an estate agent, Fry has spoken out about the lifestyle many do not see behind what it takes to make it on the pitch.
"You are grinding daily and beating yourself up daily but you can get dropped with the click of a finger out of nowhere," Fry told WalesOnline.
He added: "It has definitely got its dark side... I often look back and think what if. Partly that was down to me being young and dumb and taking what I had for granted.
"Where that could have led God only know but it is definitely something I look back on with a bit of regret and probably always will."
Since quitting the sport, Fry has opted for a more conventional career as an estate agent.
Whilst he enjoys being down in Bristol, the commute from Cardiff can be tiresome.
The company he works for even trained him up from scratch.
Fry spoke of the similarities between chasing a Wales cap and the competitiveness of sales.
Whilst some might not understand how Fry took the leap from his sporting peak, he has revealed the reason he was forced to quit.
Having been a part of tours to South Africa and Ireland, when the time came for a new contract Fry was left disappointed.
He claims it's not a rare situation for players to be left in, especially with some organisations not being run very well.
With the likes of Sam Davies also being released, Fry spoke of the shock and lack of support during the cuts.
A lack of jobs in the industry made the impact of the loss even greater.
However, Fry did manage to take up a contract with the Dallas Jackals in the US meaning a short stint with Methyr.
The heat meant the training was "absolutely savage" compared to Wales and according to Fry, something out of a "Western movie".
As a dad-of-two, Fry decided he needed to look for a stable job to ensure he could take care of his family.
Describing the best moments of his life during his career, it is clear the start of a new chapter comes with great fondness for his past.
