Chairman of International Cricket Council (ICC) Jay Shah visited Dr YSR ACA VDCA Stadium here on Sunday. Along with Mr Jay Shah, a few prominent personalities from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), including its president Roger Binny, vice president, Rajeev Shukla and former Women Cricket team captain Mithali Raj, attended the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the stadium on Sunday. IT Minister Nara Lokesh and president of Andhra Cricket Association (ACA), Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) welcomed the officials. During the arrival at the stadium, Mr. Sivanath explained to Mr. Jay Shah and the BCCI officials about the development taken up in the stadium recently. Expressing satisfaction over the works, Mr. Jay Shah appreciated the ACA for the speedy renovation of the stadium. Mr. Jay Shah has also unveiled a pylon over the development works taken up at the stadium. Later, the ACA members felicitated Mr. Jay Shah, Mr. Roger Binny and other officials. They have also watched the match and cheered for the teams. Mr. Lokesh has also attended the presentation ceremony and gave awards to the players for their performances.
