An entrepreneur and grassroots advocate, Dr Chijioke Kaduru, has charged the youths of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State to consolidate their support for the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma to continue his infrastructural development across the state. Kaduru commended Governor Uzodimma for the milestone achievements his administration had recorded in the state, especially in the area of infrastructural development. Kaduru, who spoke during a meeting with youths in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State, under the auspices of Onyeaghalanwanneya Youth Movement, said he was impressed with the governor’s performance, especially in the area of infrastructural development. He also commended Uzodimma for his administration’s interventions in federal roads in the state, stating that the massive reconstruction of the Owerri-Orlu Road, the Owerri-Okigwe Road, the Owerri-Umuahia Road, among others was a commendable feat. Kaduru further hailed Uzodimma for paying special attention to Ngor Okpala in terms of developmental projects, adding that the installation of night landing facilities at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport in Owerri was a welcomed development. He noted that for more than 30 years, the airport built by the collective financial effort of Imo people had operated without a night landing facility. He highlighted other key infrastructural developments initiated by Uzodimma including the dualization of the road leading to the airport, the installation of night landing facilities, the expansion of the runway, the construction of the Control Flyover, and the illumination of Onyeaghalanwanneya community, were cases in point, and efforts in combating insecurity in the state. Kaduru said, “I express gratitude on behalf of the Ngor Okpala people, acknowledging the governor’s commitment to enhancing the community’s standard of living.”
