Even without Clark, the Fever found a way to end their three-game losing streak Tuesday night with an 85–76 win over the Washington Mystics.
Kelsey Mitchell led Indiana with 23 points, while Lexie Hull scored all 14 of her points in the second half. The Fever trailed by two at halftime but erupted for 31 points in the third quarter—outscoring their entire first-half total of 38—to build a 69–55 lead.
Aari McDonald, making her Indiana debut after signing on a hardship exception, played 27 minutes and 26 seconds and made an immediate impact. She finished with seven points, one rebound, five assists, and three steals, including a timely three-pointer in the third quarter that was part of Indiana’s season-high 11 made threes. Her energy and composure helped steady the backcourt amid ongoing injuries.
Aliyah Boston added 10 points, and Indiana improved to 3–4 on the season.
