The state government of Mumbai has introduced a brand-new international cruise terminal to offer a luxurious yet comfortable travel experience. The project, worth Rs 556 crore, was launched by the shipping minister of the financial capital, Sarbananda Sonowal. According to the details, the model is located near Mumbai’s landmarks such as Colaba and the Gateway of India. It will work as the hotspot of tourism and an attraction point for the public, allowing them to have the rare experience of travelling on water. India’s largest luxurious International Cruise. (Photo: TOI) Partnership The project has been developed in a partnership between Ballard Pier Port Pvt Ltd and JM Baxi and Co, supported by a 30-year concession agreement. Capablities It has been reported that the cruise is filled with cutting-edge technology, , making it superior to any other cruise in the country. It is capable of ferrying around 10,000 to 15,000 passengers on a daily basis. It also has the capacity to accommodate five cruise ships in a single berth, with up to 300m in length and 11m in draft.
