Injury status for Trail Blazers' Deni Avdija and Jerami Grant upgraded
@Source: oregonlive.com
Portland Trail Blazers starting forwards Jerami Grant and Deni Avdija are listed as questionable for Sunday’s 12:30 p.m. game at the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Both players missed Friday night’s 121-102 victory at the Brooklyn Nets. Grant was out with right knee soreness. Avdija sat out with a left quad contusion suffered during the first quarter of Wednesday night’s 129-121 victory at the Washington Wizards.
While both being listed as questionable is a positive sign, they held the same status before Friday’s game.
Scoot Henderson and Kris Murray replaced Avdija and Grant in the starting lineup against the Nets.
Murray went 5 of 8 from the field for 11 points. Henderson shot 4 of 9 (1 of 6 on threes) to finish with 12 points and nine assists. He also had three steals.
