A Middle Eastern city long known for its ultra-luxury homes will have a brand new tower to add to its glittering skyline — and it will be the region’s only Trump-branded skyscraper.
The Sun reports that Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai, has been unveiled as President Donald Trump is slated to visit the Middle East in the coming weeks. The president is slated to touch down in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
In terms of its lavish extras, the 80-story property — which is the Trump Organization’s first high-rise in Dubai, and set to rise more than 1,100 feet — will be capped with the highest pool in the world. It’s expected to be completed in December 2031.
Project renderings show that splashy oasis perched right atop the grand edifice, featuring plenty of room for swimming in the shadows of neighboring towers. Sunbathers will also have covered poolside seating.
The Trump skyscraper will stand in the city’s Downtown, with views of the Arabian Sea. Not only will it house a hotel, but also apartments. Among the latter: two sky-pool penthouses, which the outlet notes have been modeled off New York City’s Trump Tower penthouse.
The Sun notes that Eric Trump, executive vice president of the Trump Organization, said: “Trump International Hotel & Tower, Dubai is a project that reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence, luxury and innovation.”
“Dubai is a global destination that shares our vision for iconic development, and we’re proud to expand the Trump brand in one of the most dynamic cities on earth.”
Meanwhile, there’s more to come from Trump in the region, specifically in the neighboring Gulf nation of Qatar.
According to a Wednesday press release, real estate investment company Qatari Diar signed an agreement with Dar Global — which is also involved in the Dubai tower — to develop Trump International Golf Club in the massive coastal Simaisma project located north of Doha. This Trump development will include a luxe 18-hole golf course, a golf club and a collection of Trump-branded villas that overlook the greens and the beach.
Back in Dubai, the skyscraper will have one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments — while those duplex penthouses will come with four bedrooms. The branded hotel will be a five-star stay. Beyond the sea, the building will also offer views of the Burj Khalifa, which is home to the “Sky Palace” penthouse.
The Dubai edifice will also have a private club for members called The Trump.
