EX beer tycoon James Watt and telly star Georgia Toffolo enjoyed a whirlwind romance before they “eloped” and got married in a coastal village.
The brewery founder from Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire, started dating Made In Chelsea favourite Toff, 30, after being introduced by a mutual pal two years ago.
A blind date set up by the friend over the summer in 2023 saw the pair hit it off immediately.
Pals said they had spent lots of time together within months of meeting and even claimed the TV personality was happier than ever after meeting Watt.
Pint-sized Georgia confessed her love for the brewer as the pair visited Mumbai in late 2023.
Inside a BrewDog venue, the playful pair flirted with Toff saying: "I love you James Watt."
Then a year ago Toff revealed she was "falling in love" with Scotland.
And in May the star said she was "proud" of James after he announced he was stepping down as BrewDog CEO after 17 years.
Georgia recalled with delight how her beau's granny mistook her for his new assistant the first time they met.
But far from being put off by the gaffe, it sealed the deal on her relationship with partner James Watt as she adored how close his family is.
James proposed in October during a Greece getaway, while enjoying the last of the sunshine before winter.
He popped the big question as he got down on one knee, holding a huge diamond-encrusted ring.
Posting photos of them beaming together, James wrote on Instagram: "She said yes."
A ring expert later estimated the value of the “beautiful” piece of jewellery at around £200,000.
Laura Taylor, a specialist at Lorel Diamonds, said: “Based on the size and quality of the stones, I would estimate this ring’s value to be around £200,000, depending on the diamond specifications.”
She and James spent their first Christmas as an engaged couple lapping up the surroundings of Meldrum House and its dome dining experience.
The country hotel and golf course is situated in the picturesque Aberdeenshire countryside, sitting on 240 acres.
The pair secretly tied the knot on Saturday in a last minute wedding.
The brewery founder wore overalls and a cable knit jumper and hat as he and bride Toff who donned a furry ivory number, celebrated on the water in a touching tribute to his late fisherman dad Jim.
They told how they gave guests just 24 hours notice as they tied the knot with their spaniel, Monty, as ringbearer in the same church the groom’s grandparents wed.
Watt’s two daughters from a former relationship were bridesmaids.
James and Toff announced their nuptials at Gardenstown Harbour in Aberdeenshire — the same place where they marked his father’s passing just months ago.
The couple revealed they had “eloped” after a ceremony which took place in a small church in the coastal village where fewer than 600 people live.
And, continuing the nautical theme, they shared the coordinates of the spot where they got hitched before announcing plans to honeymoon in Scotland — with a bash planned in London on their return.
It is believed they partied with pals in a village pub over sausage rolls and beer before heading to BrewDog headquarters in nearby Ellon for an evening bash.
