Amid the ongoing match between KKR vs CSK at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday the Cricket Association of Bengal CAB has received a bomb threat mail.
As per sources the mail from an unknown ID was detected in the official email of the CAB during the ongoing match.
As per reports an investigation into the matter is currently underway. Meanwhile the security at the Eden Gardens has been beefed up.
The match was the first one to be played in the ongoing IPL after Operation Sindhoor the precision strikes which were launched in response to last months terror attack in Pahalgam Jammu and Kashmir on May 7.

Notably the CSK and KKR players along with the BCCI honoured the Indian armed forcesrsquo for successfully carrying out lsquoOperation Sindoor ahead of the match.
The national anthem was played at the ground ahead of the game as the players lined up near the boundary line ahead of the game.
