With 12 points already of 10 matches, the five-time champion side is just two wins away to secure their spot in the next round. But its a Herculean task as the Pant-led side needs three wins out of their four remaining matches to make for the playoffs.Kolkata Knight Riders: Narine put in a fine all-round performance to keep holders KKR alive for playoffs contention with a tense 14-run win over Delhi Capitals on Tuesday. However, they face a challenge as the Rahane-led side requires at least 3 wins of the 4 remaining games to qualify.Rajasthan Royals: With only six points after playing 10 matches, RR is virtually out of the race but mathematically still in the race. If the inaugural champion side manage to win all their remaining games they would reach the magical 14 points figure but their chances would depend on other factors such as strike-rate and other top teams performance. Sunrisers Hyderabad: Hyderabad have slipped into a precarious position and face a must-win scenario. Last year's runners-up, known for their explosive brand of cricket, have faltered badly -- managing just three wins from nine matches and dropping to ninth place on the points table. Another defeat would all but knock them out of playoff contention. They must win all the remaining matches (5) to qualify for playoffs.Chennai Super Kings: With just two wins out of ten matches, Dhoni-led side is ruled out of the playoffs race.
