New Delhi: After going unsold in the IPL 2025 auction Mumbai all-rounder Tanush Kotian has joined the Punjab Kings as a net bowler. He joined the team mid-season. A 26-year-old player participated in Punjab Kings practice session before their game against Kolkata Knight Riders. He bowled to the teams batters and conferred extensively with spin bowling coach Sunil Joshi. Although Punjab Kings already have a strong spin bowling contingent including Yuzvendra Chahal they also have other capable leg-spinners in Harpreet Brar and Praveen Dubey. The team incorporated orthodox off-spin bowling into their practice drills to better prepare for facing unorthodox bowlers from teams such as the Kolkata Knight Riders specifically players like Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy.
