IRELAND AM star Tommy Bowe was left red-faced after being called out by a guest. The former rugby star and his co-hosts Muireann O'Connell and Alan Hughes geared up for their usual telly laughs this morning and got more than they bargained for. Muireann and Tommy spoke to Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke during the show via video call. Anton started the interview by joking that he was naked from the waist down. The professional dancer is bringing his Together Again show with Giovanni Pernice to Dublin's Bord Gais Theatre on Sunday, July 6. However, when Tommy brought up the performance he accidentally pronounced Giovanni's name wrong. The dad-of-two said: "You and your old partner on the show Giovanni Pierce are coming for a show in the Bord Gais." Anton burst out laughing when he heard the blunder but Tommy was yet to realise. Tommy asked: "I mean you're a judge now, you don't need to be doing dancing anymore." Anton made a cheeky quip as he replied: "Aw but I love it... with Giovani Pierce." The Kent native made Tommy's mistake apparent when he added: "I'm also going to be with Giovani Pernice as well." Tommy looked puzzled as he grabbed his TV notes and said: "It is spelt right, isn't it?" Muireann, who had her hand on her face, replied: "No, no." Tommy brushed off his mistake and said: "Ah well the Giovanni bit was spelt right." Anton added: "That's show business baby." At the end of their chat, Tommy reiterated Anton's tour dates and added: "It is with Giovani not Pierce." Anton replied sarcastically: "No, he sadly couldn't make it." Tommy joked: "Pierce Brosnan is going to come along and make a special appearance." He added: "There you have it. Thanks so much for joining us, always a good laugh." Himself and Muireann told viewers about the next Kitchen segment after the break and Tommy joked: "What could go wrong there this morning?"
