HEIMIR HALLGRÍMSSON’S IRELAND drew 1-1 with Senegal in tonight’s international friendly at the Aviva Stadium.

Kasey McAteer sent Ireland into the lead with his first goal on his first start in the 21st minute, but Crystal Palace winger Ismaïla Sarr rescued the draw for Senegal with eight minutes of normal time remaining.
