@Source: timesnownews.com
Disney may be getting ready to build a new theme park in Florida for the first time in nearly 30 years. New documents filed with the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District (CFTOD) show that Disney is planning a major expansion of its Orlando resort, reported PEOPLE. The plans include one large theme park, two smaller parks, new resort hotels, shopping and dining areas, and an 18-hole golf course. The total development could cover up to 2,629 acres, as per PEOPLE. A 'major' theme park is estimated to cover 500 acres, while each 'minor' park could span about 300 acres. These are larger than what was previously expected. The documents do not guarantee that the parks will be built, but they do reportedly allow Disney to move forward with the project if they choose to. Also Read: Did Disney Ban MAGA Hats?
