Former Manchester United star spoke on how his current club differs from the Red Devils.
Nottingham Forest winger Anthony Elanga has detailed some of the differences in playing for Manchester United compared to the Tricky Trees.
The 22-year-old was a Red Devils youth player and made his senior debut in the 2021/22 season. He showed glimpses of his talent, managing only eight goal contributions in 55 games. He was ultimately deemed surplus to requirement and was sold to Forest in the summer of 2023.

What Elanga said
The Swede has been flying for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side since joining. He is an integral member of their successes this season, which is set to earn them their first Champions League appearance since the 1980/81 season, 45 years ago.
They boosted their top-four aspirations with a 1-0 victory over Manchester United yesterday, and Elanga was the protagonist, finishing a solo run with aplomb.
After the game, the winger was asked about the difference between playing for Manchester United and Nottingham Forest, and he highlighted their directness under Nuno compared to his former club, where they are required to keep possession more often.
“At United we had a lot of the ball,” Elanga said. “I say we had a lot of the ball and counterattack football.
“And here it’s not rocket science; you can see all over the internet we’ve probably got the lowest possession in the league but it’s effective and something we’ve been working on since pre-season.
"It is about attacking the space and getting to the opposite goal as quickly as I can. I saw the space and I believe I'm one of the fastest players in the league.
Speaking about his goal, the former UEFA Youth League sensation explained that he had been working on such unique finishing.
The finish is something I have been trying to work on. Left foot or right foot, I am quite comfortable with both feet this season. All you want to do is keep on improving. Coming here is about playing and developing. I appreciate Manchester United so much, as I learned a lot there. I am enjoying my football and I want to keep on going."
