ITV Love Island viewers issue same complaint as bosses change Heart Rate Challenge

Love Island fans were all left saying the same thing minutes into the Heart Rate Challenge.
Shakira Khan received a text which excited the Villa during Monday's (June 20) episode of the ITV2 dating show.
The message read: "Islanders, it's time to get each others’ pulses racing in tonight's Boys vs Girls challenge. #HeartthrobMode #BootyandBeats"
Toni Laites went first and showed the girls how it's done but viewers were more distracted by the change in layout as the boys sat on individual chairs instead of around the Firepit as usual.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: Why aren’t they around the firepit for the heart racing challenge? This is weird. I don’t like change #LoveIsland."
Another added: "Why did they change the set up #loveisland." A third person said: "Why are they on these flimsy chairs instead of round the firepit #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK."
Someone else posted: "What on earth is this layout like do this challenge at the firepit #loveisland."
Alima Gagigo's entrance wowed the boys into silence, followed by Emily Moran, dressed like an angel. Shakira then made her entrance by throwing rose petals into the air.
Helena Ford went next and whispered "I can't wait to f**kl you" in former flame Harry Cooksley's ear, which he told Tommy Bradley to pass on leaving Dejon Noel-Williams open-mouthed.
Next up were the boys. Conor Philips came out with a Rugby Ball, while Tommy came out bearing a large bouquet of red roses.
Harrison Solomon went next wearing pleather, followed by Giorgio Russo who poured melted chocolate on his torso while dressed as a waiter.
Harry returned the favour and whispered back in Helena's ear while donning gold angel wings. Dejon rounded off the challenge by lying his partner Meg Moore down on the floor.
The Islanders later gathered round the Firepit and learned the results of who raised their heart rates the most.
The atmosphere quickly turned frosty after some shock revelations as for some Islanders the results are far from what they hoped.
Love Island airs Sunday to Thursday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
