Munster and Ireland fly-half Jack Crowley has signed a new contract with the province until 2027. Just days after guiding Munster to victory over La Rochelle, Crowley has ended weeks of rumours surrounding his future by committing to Munster. Crowley had been linked with a move to English Premiership side Leicester Tigers. Crowley made his debut with Munster in 2021 and played a key role in winning the province their first trophy in 12 years when they won the URC in 2023. So far, Crowley has scored 305 points in 65 appearances for Munster. The 25-year-old made his Ireland debut in 2022 against Fiji and was part of the squad that won the Grand Slam in 2023, while also going to the World Cup that year. Following the retirement of Johnny Sexton, Crowley was Ireland's starting fly-half as they won the 2024 Six Nations, and has earned 24 Ireland caps to date, scoring 129 points. Despite losing his place as the starting out-half for Ireland, Crowley has responded in style, with back-to-back Man of the Match performances against Connacht and La Rochelle. If Munster are to reach their first European Cup semi-final since 2013, Crowley will once again be crucial as they face Bordeaux on Saturday.
