James Haskell, the former rugby ace, has been spotted at Cheltenham Festival with a Big Brother contestant, following his split from Chloe Madeley. Dressed to impress in a three-piece blue suit, James, 39, made an appearance at the esteemed horse racing event with a mystery brunette, who he held hands with. The woman has since been identified as 34 year old Sara McLean, a former Miss Edinburgh and Big Brother star. She was a contestant on Big Brother back in 2012, making it all the way to the final. Sara has previously dated some sports personalities, having been linked to US World Cup goalie Tim Howard, rugby star Ben Cohen, cricket icon Brian Lara, as well as TOWIE's Mario Falcone. On Big Brother, Sara shocked when she broke out into a tearful rendition of God Save the Queen before launching into a pro monarchy rant. Sara also threatened to punch model Arron Lowe when he said he would pour the housemates' alcohol down the drain. James and ex-wife Chloe Madeley, 37, split in October 2023 after five years. The break-up came shortly after James and Chloe – the daughter of TV legends Richard and Judy – filmed the ITV series, Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair, reports the Mirror. The pair share two-year-old daughter Bodhi. Chloe has been open about the struggles of their split, admitting that the last year together was "one of the worst periods of my life". She has also said that she feels they made the right decision to part ways. She has said: “It was really tough and it kind of broke me, but once we’d made the decision and we drew a line under it, it was done. “I’ve felt since that moment, and I think both of us have, really free and happy.” James recently praised Chloe on the Spooning with Mark Wogan podcast, as he paid her a heartfelt compliment: "Chloe is an amazing woman, extremely talented, she's made me a much better person, being with her, now we're separated. You separate essentially because you want to make sure your daughter has the best possible life." James didn't shy away from highlighting that their daughter Bodhi's welfare is paramount and praised their teamwork in parenting: "And I think when you have a child you have a responsibility and all of your other wishes go out of the window. The ability for us to co-parent and do stuff is so important, Chloe is more vocal because she wears her heart on her sleeve."
