Jamie Carragher reveals why PSG boss Luis Enrique refuses to speak to him

Jamie Carragher has detailed the reason why Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique refuses to speak to him. Enrique's PSG have made it all the way to the Champions League final after powering their way through the knockout phase. It's one step further than they managed last season, as the Parisians were knocked out by Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals, losing both games 1-0. During the first leg in Germany, Carragher watched the game alongside Dortmund's supporters in their famous Yellow Wall at the Signal Iduna Park. The Liverpool legend loved his time so much that went on to join them for a beer before the final against Real Madrid at Wembley. While his jaunts went viral, Enrique didn't see the funny side, as Carragher has now explained. Ahead of Saturday's final between PSG and Inter Milan in Munich, the pundit was asked to name his favourite post-match interviewee while working for US broadcaster CBS Sports. "Luis Enrique, at the moment, won't speak to us," Carragher told the It's Called Soccer podcast. "Because last season, I was in Dortmund when his team lost to Borussia Dortmund - PSG lost - and I was in the mixed zone with a Borussia Dortmund scarf on, so that didn't go down particularly well with Luis." Enrique's snub was first revealed by former Manchester United goalkeeper and fellow CBS pundit Peter Schmeichel , who said of Carragher while in Dortmund: "In all seriousness, he's in the sin bin. "Seriously, he's upset every person here. First of all, were supposed to have Luis Enrique. And he came in and said, 'Hello' and then he left because Jamie was wearing a Dortmund scarf. "Then because we took Jadon Sancho in, the press officer from Dortmund got a bit cross with us because that was not on the list. We've been very naughty. And I hope it's been good content." Enrique has spoken to CBS' pitch-side reporters before and after matches this season, and will do on Saturday when PSG face Inter at the Allianz Arena. Carragher doesn't hold it against the ex-Barcelona boss either, hailing his side when they knocked his beloved Liverpool out in March. "The best team won," he confessed. "I thought the left-back [Nuno Mendes] against [Mo] Salah was outstanding again. He's been brilliant in the two games. I think the two midfield players, Vitinha and [Joao] Neves, were brilliant.
