TOKYO -- Japan's car exports to the U.S. plunged by value in yen terms for the third month in a row in June, though the shipment volume increased, according to provisional Ministry of Finance data released Thursday.
U.S. President Donald Trump's administration has since April 3 slapped an additional 25% duty on all imported vehicles, hitting Japan particularly hard.
