In what is a quick and unexpected switch, Scottland Digital Media Coordinator, Thulani ‘Javas’ Sibanda has moved to Southern Region Division One outfit Bulawayo Chiefs, where he takes over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Javas had only just joined the moneybags from Harare a few months ago, after their ascendancy into the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.
He previously served as the Chiefs Media Officer from 2018, when the team was promoted to the Premier League.
A statement issued by Dumisani Sibanda said As CEO, Javas will focus on:
Ensuring that Bulawayo Chiefs continues to thrive both on and off the pitch.Enhancing our operational strategies,Fostering community engagement
Javas said, after his appointment, “I am truly honored to be appointed as the CEO of Bulawayo Chiefs. Coming back to this esteemed club feels like a homecoming for me; my blood has always been Bulawayo Chiefs, and the Ninja in me has always stayed alive.”
Chiefs were relegated last season and have set trained their eyes on returning to the big time at the first time of asking.
