Joaquin Niemann spectacularly won the LIV Golf Adelaide event on 13-under par. The Chilean fired a bogey-free 7-under 65 in the final round to go from three shots off the lead to three shots ahead of Torque GC teammate Carlos Ortiz and Fireball GC's Abraham Ancer.Niemann's seven birdies combined with Ancer's three bogeys in his last five holes to swap positions on the leaderboard. The Mexican had been in the lead since the day before and held it for most of the final round, but could not hold off the Chilean's charge.Afterward, Niemann detailed his round."Days like today makes me grow as a player," Niemann said following his victory."There is a lot I have to take from today and learn from it because today was a really good day. If I could have these Sundays more often, chasing leaders, it would be really good for my game.""The way I played today, I feel like it talks a lot on how I've been working, how I've been practicing," he added. "Being able to see those little steps forward all the time, it's always satisfying."Niemann also had a remarkable first round at The Grange Golf Club in Adelaide, carding six birdies and a bogey for a 5-under 67.This is Joaquin Niemann's third victory at LIV Golf, having also won in Mayakoba and Jeddah in 2024. It is also his fifth victory worldwide since December 2023, as he won the Australian Open on the DP World Tour in 2023 and the PIF Saudi International on the Asian Tour's International Series in 2024.This surge in results has opened up numerous opportunities for Niemann in recent months. The Chilean received special invitations to the Masters Tournament and the PGA Championship in 2024, and Augusta National Golf Club has already re-invited him for 2025.Fireballs GC won the team event in Adelaide for its fifth league title. Ancer led the team with a second-place finish, followed closely by David Puig in a tie for fourth. Captain Sergio Garcia tied for 18th, while rookie Luis Masaveu finished T37.In second place were the winners of the season-opening LIV Golf Riyadh, Legion XIII, led by Jon Rahm (6th) and rookie Tom McKibbin (T7).
