He opened his wicket account by dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal for 13 runs on the third ball of his first over. The left-handed Indian batter was caught by Brook. India had high hopes from Jaiswal at the Home of Cricket, and the world No. 4 Test batter got off to a great start as well, but he failed to convert it into a big knock.
