Jon Rahm didn't want to leave Bryson DeChambeau hitting bombs alone at LIV Golf Mexico City, and set the bar really high in the second round of the event. The Spaniard hit a 400-yard tee shot that ranks among the longest in league history.Rahm hit the shot on the 462-yard, par-4 13th hole at Chapultepec Golf Club, which sits at an elevation of 7,800 feet. According to the league's official website, the two-time major champion's tee shot traveled 400 yards over the dogleg left of the fairway and landed on the green 27 feet from the hole. The native of Barrika in Spain's Basque Country eventually made birdie on the hole. It was the fourth of five in the round, which also included a double bogey and a bogey, to finish at 2-under for the day.Rahm has a 36-hole score of 9-under and is in fourth place, four shots behind leader Bryson DeChambeau.Speaking of DeChambeau, he accomplished a similar feat a day earlier. On the 396-yard, par-4 1st hole, where he finished his round as he started on the 2nd hole (shotgun starts), the reigning US Open champion carried his ball 391 yards to the green and celebrated the feat in a most exuberant manner. The Modesto, California, native made there his seventh birdie of the day, adding an eagle and a bogey to finish at 8-under for the round."It's fun hitting it far," DeChambeau said after the first round. "The first hole was amazing. It was a lot of fun."A day later, he carded a 5-under to remain in the lead, but only one stroke ahead of Cameron Smith."Being aggressive when I feel comfortable and laying back in the places where I can still make birdie when I'm not," DeChambeau said about his game plan for the final round."If I get my starting lines down tomorrow and feel like I can ball strike it the way I know I can when I'm playing my best, it's going to be a fun day and a challenging day, and this golf course is getting tricky. It's getting very difficult. It's just little bounces here and there. It's been a good test of golf, and been fun seeing how I can play tomorrow."Both Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau will be looking for their third LIV Golf victory.More Golf: CBS' Amanda Balionis Hard at Work, Goes Beyond Golf for Passion Project
