Kansas City Chiefs 2025 NFL Draft – All picks and analysis as it happens

Round 1 – Pick 32 – Josh Simmons, Offensive Tackle, Ohio State
The Kansas City Chiefs desperately needed to find an offensive tackle for the future, and got their guy after trading back one spot with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Simmons 2024 season was cut short due to a knee injury in mid-October. He started at right tackle for San Diego State in 2022, but after transferring to the Buckeyes played two seasons at left tackle.
With experience on both sides of the line, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are getting a guy who can develop into the long-term blindside protector on the line.
Round 2 – Pick 63 – Omarr Norman-Lott, Defensive Tackle, Tennessee
Pairing Omarr Norman-Lott with Chris Jones on the interior of the Chiefs’ defensive line is going to be a problem. The Tennessee Volunteers defender finished number one in pass rush win rate in 2024, at 18.9%.
He already had a ton of potential, but now training and learning from future Hall of Famer Chris Jones every day? That’s going to be a fun partnership to watch develop. Norman-Lott may then become the long-term replacement for Jones, who’s been with the franchise since 2016.
