Katie Price breaks silence on why she keeps travelling to Turkey for more surgery

Former glamour model Katie Price has opened up on her cosmetic surgery, and explained why she keeps going under the knife. The star, 46, has just returned to the UK after travelling to Turkey, where she underwent another procedure. This time she opted for a nose job. It is understood to be the second time she has travelled to the country in recent weeks, visiting Istanbul just last month for a 'fox eyes' procedure and getting her ears pinned back - both of which left her heavily bandaged. Katie even admitted that following the surgery, she redid her own nose bandages after she still felt "sore," but "bodged" the job of dressing the wound, reports the Mirror. She emotionally admitted she doesn't like looking at herself and candidly said: "I don't think I'm pretty, I certainly don't think I'm beautiful. I look at old photos of myself and think: 'Urrrgh!'" Now, speaking to The Sun, she confessed that men have been the downfall of her in the past and queried whether that is something that could explain why she has surgery. She told the publication: "In all the therapy I've had, one thing that I haven't stemmed down the line of is 'Why do I feel I need to have surgery'? There must be some-thing happened to make me not like the way I look." It's thought Katie has had several boob jobs, as well as facial procedures. However, she has now ruled out any further facial surgery. She admitted she isn't scared of ageing, but sadly claims she doesn't think she will "make it to be an old lady". "I am happy with my face," she said. "No more facial surgery - well, not unless I make it to 70." However, her breasts could see her head back under the knife. Fans have raised concerns that Katie's latest drinking and performing could impact her recovery from her latest triple surgery. An expert agreed, too. Gerard Lambe, a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and director of Reflect Clinic UK, told the Mirror that footage of Katie on stage in Barnsley was worrying, and that failing to follow proper surgical aftercare can be fatal. "Katie runs the risk of exhausting her body's potential to recover and experiencing wound breakdown and infection, but most worrying is the risk of a bleed, especially after facelift surgery which involves a very delicate process," he said.
