KC Concepcion marked her milestone 40th birthday with a joyful and intimate celebration in Amanpulo, Palawan, alongside close friends and her rumored rekindled boyfriend, Aly Borromeo. The actress and entrepreneur uploaded a series of photos and videos on 18 April, giving fans a glimpse of her birthday “salubong” (welcome celebration) held on the night of 6 April. According to KC, the night was filled with fun, laughter, and a mix of spontaneous and planned activities—from barefoot tennis matches to a decadent dinner of grilled wagyu and sushi.."Birthday ‘salubong’ with the crew started with (barefoot) tennis to get us ready for our grilled wagyu + sushi dinner,” KC wrote. “Then a surprise birthday welcome, complete with karaoke (of course!) in our favorite villa, and a banana bread appearance as my impromptu birthday cake. Pretty pastel balloons and fresh bougainvillea were everywhere!" To cap off the night, a surprise golf cart race took place along the resort's private runway. "To top it all off? A spontaneous golf cart race down the island’s private runway because what a start to this new era!!! No big crowd, just our little island crew, ushering in the first hour of Chapter 40 with so much love and everyone so game for anything. Thank You, Lord!" she added. In one clip, Aly Borromeo can be heard handing KC a plate of grilled meat, saying, "Here, babe!" to which she replied with a delighted, "Wow, thank you." The moment sent fans into a frenzy, fueling further speculation about the couple’s relationship status. The day after her birthday, 7 April, KC and her group enjoyed a relaxing time at the beach. She also embarked on a short boat trip to nearby Manamoc Island, where she bought fresh red snapper (maya-maya) directly from the local fishermen.."On the first day of Chapter 40, we just soaked in even more of the white sand and turquoise waters my beloved Palawan is known for!" she shared. "Took a birthday boat adventure to nearby Manamoc Island, where the locals live. Bought fresh, wild-caught, giant maya-maya straight from the ‘barangay’ captain—aka fisherman—to cook for my birthday dinner, and even bought some cute woven basket bags from a sweet nanay artisan."She ended her post by reflecting on the beauty of Filipino culture: "So much beauty in the simple, the soulful, and the proudly Filipino.".Sharon Cuneta celebrates KC's Birthday while supporting Kiko Pangilinan's campaign
