Thousands of people hit the streets of the Irish capital today to run the Dublin City Half Marathon but Kellie Harrington was looking for one face in the crowd: her wife Mandy Loughlin.
Mandy is usually the one cheering Kellie on in the boxing ring but this time, it was Kellie being the supportive partner as her wife took on the 21.1km route around Dublin.
The two-time Olympic gold medallist spotted Mandy from a distance and shouted out words of encouragement to her, saying: 'Let's go Mandy, come on!'
And Kellie didn't have to go far to cheer her on as the finish line at the Dublin Docklands was just a few hundred meters from where the couple's home on Portland Row in north inner city Dublin.
The Olympic boxer shared a clip of Mandy running past her with a big smile, writing: 'Well done everyone for completing the Dublin City Half Marathon today was such a great buzz around the city today.'
The sporty couple, who married in April 2022, have been enjoying much more quality time together since Kellie announced her retirement following the 2024 Olympics.
Speaking about her retirement, the 35-year-old said in a recent interview with the Irish Independent: 'Most of all, I've just been enjoying it.
'Meeting people, just enjoying finding who I am again, and being that person. And I'm reconnecting with Mandy, as well, we're doing a lot more stuff together.'
Perhaps Kellie and Mandy can pair up and take on the Vhi Women's Mini Marathon together on June 1?
