Sportsworld Fiji Under-20 halfback Adam Khan and team-mate Iliesa Baravilala began vlogging on Youtube as a way to show their experience in Fiji to their families back in Australia.
“We decided to get a camera this year so our family back home can see what we’ve been experiencing at camp, the game and how we train,” Khan said.
“Not only in the game, preparation and the Fiji life experience.”
Khan said it was a tough experience playing against New Zealand teams in the Super Rugby U20 tournament in March.
“New Zealand boys are really good rugby players not only that we went there and learnt a lot,” he said.
“It was a good learning experience for me and the boys as well. We didn’t get the result that we wanted but we’re very proud of the boys and they played really well.”
Khan was grateful to represent his country and was happy to be back in the mix for the Fiji U20 squad.
“Team bonding has been going well. There are 11 of us overseas based-players. The local boys are very welcoming to us and treat us very nicely,” he said.
“We’ll focus on the competition coming up next week and I’ll play my best.”
Khan was hopeful of securing the first win against Tonga at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Wednesday.
“I’m just concentrating on rugby and hopefully I’ll get a career out of it,” he added.
