Kieron Pollard etched his name in the history books on Saturday (August 23) during the 2025 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) match between Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) and Saint Lucia Kings (SLK) at the Daren Sammy National Stadium in Gros Islet, St. Lucia. The 38-year-old continued to show his prowess with a knock of 65 in 29 balls, which included four boundaries and six maximums. The Knight Riders posted a huge total of 183 on the board. Pollard's innings proved to be a match-winning effort as the four-time champions sealed an 18-run victory to climb up to third spot on the table. The West Indies cricket legend is only the second player in the league's history to achieve the feat and the first non-opener after Evin Lewis, who reached the milestone on Friday (August 22) during St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots' 12-run victort against Barbados Royals on Friday (August 22) at Werner Park. This is the second instance of Pollard completing 200 sixes in a T20 franchise league, having also achieved the feat in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Infact, Pollard is the first player in history to have 200 or more maximums in two major franchise-based T20 leagues.
