Kilmarnock striker Bobby Wales will leave the club for English Championship outfit Swansea City when his contract expires at the end of the month. The 19-year-old has earned plaudits during his first campaign of regular first-team football at Rugby Park, which has seen become a regular for Scotland’s under-21s while he was also shortlisted for the Scottish Football Writers’ Association Young Player of the Year award. A compensation package, believed to be around £300,000, has been agreed between the clubs with Wales eyeing up first team football in the English second tier. Wales, who bagged 12 goals during a loan spell at League One Alloa Athletic prior to becoming a first team feature for Killie this term.
