I train with the Coast Guard all the time as a NYC/Jersey shore ferryman, they now want us doing CPR continuously until you can't do it anymore and hand it over to the other crew member ..and then back. They also have brought out a new heavyweight dummy to hoist up in the cradle onto the deck before the CPR when doing a man over board drill. When this is soaking wet in the middle of the Hudson River its a real bear to bring up when it weights 250 lbs.. As someone who has done these drills since 2018 for over 30 times successfully, these last two with the new dummy I have failed. Sorry if I can't save you at 63 years old you overweight human.

FWIW Chuck, CPR usually isn't successful. Unless you're in a movie. Then that chit is golden.

The monarch performed chest compressions on a mannequin and joked 'at least I haven't broken it' as he refreshed his first aid skills.
Isn't there a saying that if you haven't broken a couple of ribs that you are not doing right?

Work sent me to some First Aid course a couple years ago and when I picked up the dummy, the chest popped open and the head rolled clear across the room.
