Hendricks died at the age of 37 after a suffering a heart attack last week.
He played for Roses United, the Bulls and the Springboks.
Hendricks will be laid to rest in Wellington on Sunday.
Boland coach, Havies Fourie, says he was a fierce competitor.
“When Cornal came back to the Boland, part of my plan was to use him as a mentor, to use him in the team to show everyone what it takes to be a professional player. There were a few players in my life that I coached that were true professionals, and I can honestly say that Cornal was one of the top three that I’ve been privileged to work with,” says Fourie.
