BCCI Central Contract: There is so much speculation over Rohit Sharma , Virat Kohli 's future in cricket and hence the fresh contracts that beckon are important. While the fresh contract is set to be released soon, it is reportedly understood that Rohit, Kohli and allrounder Ravindra Jadeja would hold onto their grade A+ contracts. It was earlier reported that they may be demoted, but that does not seem to be happening. A TOI report confirms that apart from Rohit, Kohli and Jadeja, pacer Jasprit Bumrah will also hold onto his grade A+ contract. Apart from Bumrah; Rohit, Kohli and Jadeja were part of the triumphant Champions Trophy 2025 squad as well. The same report went onto also claim that Shreyas Iyer, who was removed from the Central Contract, is set to get it back after his consistent show in white-ball cricket lately. It is believed that there is much uncertainty over young Ishan Kishan. For the unversed, Kishan was also stripped of the Central Contract. All the players are currently featuring in the ongoing season of the IPL . In fact, all the above-mentioned cricketers are match-winners are are expected to play a pivotal role for their respective franchises. "Shreyas is set to regain his contract, and it will be in a top category.
