LEINSTER Rugby stars Max Deegan and Henry McErlean were filmed diving in the Kings Park stadium pool.
The pair were clearly in high spirits following their hard-fought 10-7 win over the Sharks in Durban last Saturday.
And they showed their joy in style by diving into the unique pitch-side pool at the venue.
The victory marked Leinster’s second-ever URC win on South African soil and came just a week after their narrow loss to the Bulls.
Max Deegan led from the front, and veteran Cian Healy dug deep, playing over an hour in 28-degree Durban heat before being replaced.
The Sharks had won all six of their previous home URC matches this season and came out strong, pounding the Leinster line in the opening exchanges.
But the young visiting team stood firm, setting the tone with a disciplined and composed defensive display.
Despite boasting a star-studded backline, the hosts lacked spark and structure.
Even when they worked their way into promising positions, handling errors let them down repeatedly as the Blues went on to earn a famous triumph in the blistering heat.
And skipper for the day Deegan, along with McErlean joined in the fun by leaping into the shallow water near the stands—a unique feature of the Durban venue in crazy post-match celebrations.
While the water wasn't as deep as it appeared, both players emerged unscathed and laughing - much to the delight of the fans who had gathered pitch-side.
Their celebration was captured via video widely shared on social media, quickly gained traction.
The unique pool was In tribute to the late former Springbok World Cup winner, James Small.
The 'Small Zone', was inspired by the vision of the Springbok and Sharks legend, who passed away suddenly in 2022 at the age of 50.
Leinster now return to Dublin as they turn their attention to the Investec Champions Cup Round of 16.
Leo Cullen's men face Harlequins at Croke Park this weekend.
