Lennon Miller could find himself playing alongside Nicolas Kuhn this season, but not at Celtic . Serie A outfit FC Como are in the process of completing a £17.2million deal for the Parkhead wide man, and now the Scottish Sun claims that they are set to make a move for the Motherwell starlet. They face competition from Italian rivals Udinese, who had a bid knocked back last January. It's claimed Miller caught the eye while Como were running the rule over Kuhn during the 2024/25 campaign. And now they are preparing to launch a bd for Miller in an attempt to make him the latest Scottish export to the Italy. Since Aaron Hickey left hearts for Bologna give years ago, buying Scottish has proved a very successful strategy for Serie A and Serie B clubs. Lewis Ferguson skippered Bolgona to the Coppa Italia and Champions League qualification while Scott McTominay was Napoli's talisman in their march to the Scudetto, ably backed up by Billy Gilmour. Chea Adams has broken record up front for Torino while Josh Doig helped Sassuolo to the Serie B title and promotion back to the top flight. Now Miller could join them under former Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas, who has impressed in his first managerial role at Como. Southampton and Ipswich are also said to be admirers but the players dad Lee - former Hearts, Dundee Utd and Aberdeen striker - has previously revealed that Miller's preference is to head to the continent. Motherwell have accepted that they need to cash in this summer, with Danish coach jens Bethel Askou completely cool about the prospect of Motherwell cashing in imminently on their star man. Askou conceded at his unveiling as boss last month that he was planning for life without the teen midfield ace. That reality appears to be looming as Well prepare for tomorrow’s Premier Sports Cup opener against Clyde. Askou said: “There's interest in him constantly. Like, 24 hours. That's an interest he's created by performances. It's not like it's going up and down. “There is a lot of manoeuvring in the market around him. Eventually, that interest will form into something concrete that will go somewhere. “Lennon has done more than enough to make himself interesting for bigger clubs, especially when you're that young and performing at that level. “We have to be calm about it. Because, no matter what happens, it's a positive thing for everyone. “For Lennon, for us, for the community and for the club that's going to buy him. As long as he's here, it's a positive thing for us too. “Because he's a very important driver in what we want to do and what we're going through now as a football club. “I can't see any reason to be stressed about it at all but you can’t always plan it. “Sometimes that will take a little bit of time and sometimes it can go really fast. “If it will be the end of August or next window or whenever, we're really happy that he's here. “If he leaves Monday - because things can suddenly go fast, you never know - then we'll try and get a new player in to replace him as soon as possible.” Askou has only had just over a fortnight to get to know Miller, who got extra time off after Scotland friendly duty. The new manager admits everything he’s seen so far justifies the midfielder’s major billing. “I think he's a very special talent,” said Askou. “He's got the full package to go really far. “I know that he’s worked really hard to get to where he is, but he's just a natural and everything he does LOOKS easy. “If he plays darts, golf or whatever, it looks as if he hasn't done anything else with his entire life. “There's that natural ability to adapt and use your motor skills and your game intelligence, no matter what it is. “That also gives him the possibility to shine in different styles of football, different markets. He’s very flexible as a
