LIVERPOOL will try to tempt Adam Wharton to quit Crystal Palace in a £50million-plus swoop. Anfield’s transfer team are focusing on the midfielder whose passing talent could make Arne Slot’s team tick. Wharton has established himself as a Premier League player of real promise since his move from hometown club Blackburn in 2024. And his ability to see the picture and deliver quick balls to attackers marks him out as a future elite star.
