Casey Conklin scored five goals and added an assist to lead Livingston to an 11-5 victory over DePaul in Livingston.
Taylor Dzama also had a standout performance for Livingston (6-6), contributing four goals and two assists for a total of six points. The duo combined for nine of Livingston’s 11 goals in the win.
DePaul (10-5) struggled to generate offense throughout the contest, as Livingston’s defense held firm. Livingston was particularly strong on the ground, collecting 22 ground balls as a team.
Conklin was active all over the field, securing seven ground balls and winning six draw controls. Dzama matched Conklin’s ground ball total with seven of her own, while also recording three draw controls.
Other contributors for Livingston included Sami Schechter and Hannah Taub, who each scored one goal. Morgan Abramson collected three ground balls, while Aryanna Lennon added two.
Livingston’s balanced attack and strong possession game proved too much for DePaul to overcome, as the Lancers evened their season record at 6-6 with the victory.
