The Scottish Public Speaking Championship, known for showcasing the finest speakers across the region, attracted participants from various backgrounds, each eager to demonstrate their oratory prowess. James, who is a leadership trainer, captivated the judges and audience alike with a compelling speech on catalysts for change. “I am absolutely thrilled to have won this championship,” said James, who has been passionately involved in public speaking for over 30 years. “It was an incredible experience to compete alongside so many talented individuals. I am grateful for the support of the members of Livingston Speakers Club, who encouraged me every step of the way.” The judges praised James’s ability to engage the audience, articulate ideas clearly and convey emotions effectively.
