In what comes as a tragic news, a small aircraft crashed at London's Southend Airport on Sunday afternoon. According to reports, emergency crews arrived at the scene immediately after the crash was reported. The East of England Ambulance Service said that it sent four ambulances along with several other emergency response vehicles. Fire services were also involved in the response. As a result, the Southend Airport has shut "until further notice." According to the flight tracking data, the plane was a Beech B200 Super King Air was leaving the airport for Lelystad in the Netherlands. It had arrived from Croatia earlier in the day. Netherlands Lelystad Airport based Zeusch Aviation stated that one of its aircraft was involved in the serious crash at the Southend Airport in London on Sunday. Zeusch Aviation, in an official statement, said “We can confirm that Zeusch Aviation flight SUZ1 was involved in an accident today at London Southend Airport. We are actively supporting the authorities with the investigation and will provide updates on this page as more information becomes available.” How Will It Affect Your Travel Plans?All the flights were cancelled and the airport was shut a little after the crash took place. While speaking with The Independent, a spokesperson said, "Our thoughts are with those affected by today’s events and all passengers impacted by this disruption.
