While the flick got a miserable 11 per cent approval rating from fans on Rotten Tomatoes, Hurley seemed to have enjoyed getting to work with Cyrus — and said she was a fan. In a previous interview with Movieweb, Hurley said she wanted to do the movie because of Grammer, as well as, “the opportunity to work with Billy Ray, whom I’ve long been a fan of — my son was the age where he used to watch Hannah Montana all the time, so of course, I used to watch it with him. I knew Billy Ray really well from that, and of course, some of his music. That was a big plus.” Hurley, 59, lives in England and Cyrus, 63, lives in Nashville, so it is unclear where the pair will be spending time together. Hurley and Cyrus’ relationship reveal comes after Cyrus finalised his contentious divorce from Australian singer Firerose in August 2024. He was previously married to Tish Cyrus from 1993 to 2022. Hurley, for her part, was married to businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2010.
