The Macleans College 1st XV rugby team recently played their final warm-up match against the visiting Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School from Tamworth in New South Wales, Australia.
Macleans have been building towards a strong start to the Auckland 1B rugby competition, which kicks off in early May.
They proved too powerful for Farrer, running in seven tries in a comprehensive 43-5 victory.
The team have their first competition game on Saturday, May 3, when they travel away to play One Tree Hill.
Try scorers for Macleans against Farrer were Jacob Ely (3), Asher Langley, Tyler Marsh, Lisiate Taulape, and Connor Williams, while Jackson Steele had four conversions.
