Code set for revival
THE Madang Rugby League 9’s competition successfully concluded on Sunday at the Ron Albert Oval.
The semi-finals and Grand Finals were staged in the revitalised competition in the Madang province. The event was staged over six-weekends.
14 male teams and eight female teams competed in the challenge.
The competition was co-sponsored by Raibus Limited, a prominent landowner company from the Ramu Nickel and Cobalt Project in the province.
Their partnership with the Madang Rugby League was pivotal in staging the revival of the code, thus supporting grassroots rugby league development.
