Married at First Sight Australia viewers were left exclaiming "I'm done" following a groom's "unbelievable" confession on Tuesday (March 11). The 12th season of the popular matchmaking experiment is currently airing on E4, and has already been packed with plenty of drama and jaw-dropping revelations. In the latest episode, the newlywed couples convened for the first dinner party of the series. While most pairs entered the event arm in arm, not all were basking in marital bliss. Among the less fortunate duos were Katie and Tim, who both turned up alone after a rocky start to their marriage. Despite appearing to be a good match on paper, Tim quickly revealed his lack of attraction towards Katie, repeatedly telling producers that there was no "spark", reports OK! A heartbroken Katie tried to salvage their relationship, making efforts to bond with her husband during their honeymoon, but Tim didn't cooperate. However, during tonight's dinner party, Tim claimed to his fellow participants that he had been "making the most effort" in the relationship. "Hearing that, I was like, 'What the hell? That does not make sense.' He's the one who's pushed me away from day one, he's the one that's rejected me," an astounded Katie responded. "I was here to get to know you and when you don't feel that you get that back, it's devastating," Tim continued, before accusing Katie of "betraying" his trust after she failed to defend him in front of the group. Tonight's episode of MAFS left fans fuming as Tim's startling confession took centre stage, with viewers quickly flocking to X (previously known as Twitter) to express their outrage. One viewer remarked, "That Tim is absolutely unbelievable," and another chimed in: "Get Tim off my screen, I'm getting mad." Another disappointed fan posted: "Tim has zero respect for Katie. He has zero interest of how his behaviour affects her. I'm done." The online sentiment was palpable, as one individual commented, "What the hell is going on. Who else is screaming at their TV," while a fifth weighed in, "This is heartbreaking to watch." Fellow bride Jamie was visibly incensed by the events, voicing her indignation at the dinner party. In a heated statement, Jamie declared: "I know what's going on, I can see what's going on, I'm not stupid. It's just a gaslighting move, like what is this?" She opened up about her empathy and frustration, stating, "I know what it's like to be in that position. I know what it's like for someone to make you feel less than, dim your shine, make you question yourself, blame yourself - that is not ok." Jamie's act of standing up for Katie earned her plaudits from the audience, with one admiring fan noting: "Jamie has become one of the best ones in the entire experiment for being the only one to speak up for Katie and speak the truth." Another supporter expressed: "Everyone needs a friend like Jamie in their corner!!" while a third said: "I'd want Jamie from #MAFSAU on my team any day of the week!" Married at First Sight Australia airs Monday to Thursday on E4 at 7.30pm
