Man City's next five fixtures compared to Chelsea, Newcastle and other Premier League rivals
@Source: manchestereveningnews.co.uk
Manchester City carried on their good recent form with a routine 2-0 victory over Leicester City at the Etihad Stadium . Jack Grealish got the Blues off to the best start as he swept home with less than two minutes on the clock. With the game plan out of the window, the Foxes continued to crumble with Mads Hermansen dropping the ball at the feet of Omar Marmoush to make it 2-0 with less than half an hour on the clock. The Blues would not push on and add to their scoreline after the break, despite their best efforts. On another day Marmoush may have scored a hat-trick but City were happy to settle for two. MEN Sport has taken a closer look at City's upcoming fixtures compared to their top four rivals below. April 6 vs Manchester United (A) at 4.30pm - Premier League April 12 vs Crystal Palace (H) at 12.30pm - Premier League April 19 vs Everton (A) at 3pm - Premier League April 26/27 vs Nottingham Forest (N) at TBC - FA Cup SF May 2 vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (H) at 8pm - Premier League What MEN Sport says: This is an interesting run of fixtures for City and you could argue that none of the games are straightforward. The tone will be set with the Manchester derby on Sunday. Pep Guardiola will be eager for revenge against United after what happened last time but the Blues can't let their emotions get the better of them. On paper, City should win that and if they do they will be well set for the clashes with Palace and Everton. The Forest semi-final will be a tough test and while Champions League football next season is the priority, a FA Cup victory would be a good way to end a difficult season.
